Augmented Book

I decided to design for a younger demographic I don’t often find myself considering, because I wanted to challenge myself to put myself into a child’s shoes. I decided to base my project off of my two year old nephew, who is currently interested in picture books with an increasing amount of words. I thought that it would make sense to augment a children’s book because the literacy rates of children are decreasing at an alarming rate - something that has only gotten worse since Covid. To combat this, I think that augmenting a book would incentivize children to actually be interested in opening a book.
