Two-Headed Calf

This was one of my first projects in which I experimented with After Effects. I chose to animate "Two-Headed Calf" by Laura Gilpin, a poem about a calf born with two heads, that will inevitably die but finds peace in the moment. Gaining inspiration from the project boundaries - to use strictly type, sound, and color - I kept this animation relatively simple to reflect the meditative mood set by Gilpin.
